Louisiana Lions Camp
For 63 years, the Lions Clubs of Louisiana have provided the facilities, staff, and programming of the Louisiana Lions Camp for the youth of Louisiana with respiratory disorders, special needs, juvenile diabetes, and childhood cancer. Lions Camp is free for qualifying boys and girls of Louisiana. All campers are sponsored by their local Lions Clubs.

Camp Tiger invites children between the ages of 6-15 years old in the New Orleans, Northshore, Baton Rouge and Lower Parish metropolitan areas who are physically and/or mentally challenged to join us for a week-long day summer camp. We especially welcome those children who are unable to attend other camps available for special needs children..

The mission of the McLindon Family Foundation (MFF) is to provide adaptive bikes to children with special needs so that they can build critical core strength, boost confidence and nurture friendships, all of which help these children maximize their potential and participation in society.

The mission of the Miracle League of Greater New Orleans and the Miracle League North Shore is to promote the health and well-being of children with disabilities, provide opportunities for able-bodied children to learn about and interact with children with disabilities, and develop community awareness and support for the child athlete with disabilities through organized sports leagues.

jojo's hope
JoJo’s Hope is a charitable organization which offers swimming and aquatic activity programs that are adapted to meet the need of individuals with mental or physical limitations. The therapeutic programs are specially designed for those with Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Bifida, Autism, Down syndrome and other disabilities. JoJo’s Hope’s water safety programs are approved by the American Red Cross.
JoJo’s Hope is for all ages, with special emphasis on children and mature adults. Our highly skilled instructors are certified in the areas of water safety, physical aquatic exercise, medical therapy, and public education. In addition, local area schools refer interns who provide “hands-on” support to our instructors.

camp able
Camp Able NOLA is located at Christ Church Cathedral. We invite you to a day camp (from 8am to 3pm) full of activities such as dancing, arts & crafts, nature adventure, outside activities, games, and our own second line performance. Ages range from 10 and up. Each camper, faced with their own set of circumstances, works through their challenges to take part in a camp that allows them to have fun, make new friends, experience new things and most importantly just be an extraordinarily beloved child of God.

As a top-rated children’s charity, Sunshine Foundation answers the dreams and wishes of children, ages three through eighteen, who have severe or profound physical/developmental/intellectual challenges or trauma from physical/sexual abuse, and whose families have limited income.
